Quo-Lab HbA1c Blood Analyser
The Quo-Lab HbA1c Blood Analyser provides lab-accurate test results within four minutes (CV < 3% at 7% A1c) from a venous or finger prick blood sample of just 4 μl. Quo-Lab uses the same boronate affinity methodology used by Quo-Test ® and is similarly unaffected by Hb variants.
Using patented boronate fluorescence quenching technology, the Quo-Lab is able to measure glycolated haemoglobin levels from blood samples as small as 4μl. The multi-lingual menus allow users to operate the device in their home language, and the onboard storage allows for up to 7,000 results to be saved for efficient data management.
The Quo-Lab HbA1c Blood Analyser boasts low-cost test cartridges, making it an essential tool for point-of-care settings.
Results in Minutes
The semi-automated process of testing is simple, and the onscreen instructions mean that little time has to be devoted to training:
- Scan barcode of test cartridges
- Open cartridge and insert into machine
- Insert reagent bead from cartridge into sample stick 3. Collect blood sample and insert into cartridge
- Close lid and await results
Results are displayed on-screen in the user’s chosen units, which include IFCC traceable units (IFCC mmol/mol).
