POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor

The new POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor easily attaches to your POWERbreathe Plus IMT or POWERbreathe EX1 EMT devices, and soon, your Shaker Deluxe Mucus Clearance devices. This addition turns your mechanical breathing device into a smart trainer that provides real-time, customised feedback on your breathing performance. Providing you with informative breathing training feedback to help you get the most from your breathing training. Designed to take your training to unprecedented levels, this innovative duo combines advanced technology with personalised guidance for a transformative respiratory experience.

Standalone Breathing Strength Tester

The POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor functions as an independent device, separate from your POWERbreathe training device. It includes a Breathing ‘Strength Test Plug’, a small plastic plug that adds resistance to breathing. To conduct your breathing strength test, insert the Strength Test Plug into the Smart Adaptor. This standalone capability offers increased flexibility in its use, providing more opportunities to perform a breathing strength test.

The POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor also enables a wider accessibility; you don’t need to own another POWERbreathe device to test your breathing strength. Additionally, results from all your breathing strength tests are viewable on the accompanying ActiBreathe® App. Simply connect the Smart Adaptor to your device via Bluetooth® wireless technology. This accessibility to data can aid in tracking your progress quickly and easily, to help you make informed decisions about your respiratory health.

Note: Do not submerge the POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor in water.

The ActiBreathe® App takes the data from the POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor via Bluetooth® wireless technology and transforms it into actionable insights. Care & Maintenance

There are two parts to your POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor:

  • The electronic POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor multibody
  • The ‘Strength Test Plug’, for breathing strength testing only

Cleaning the Electronic POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor

Important Note: To ensure the longevity and proper function of your electronic POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor, we recommend cleaning it with a POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor HypaClean Moist Wipe ideally after each use.

Because the POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor is an electronic device, you must not immerse it in water, or expose it to running water, as this will damage the electronics and void your warranty.

It is also important to note that your POWERbreathe Smart Adaptor is unsuitable for cleaning or sterilisation by boiling, steam, microwave oven or dishwasher.

Cleaning the Strength Test Plug

After each breathing strength test, you can rinse the ‘Strength Test Plug’ in warm running water because this component is not electronic.

After every few uses, soak the ‘Strength Test Plug’ in a mild cleansing solution, along with your POWERbreathe breathing training device, according to the instructions in the user manual.
