Quo-Test HbA1c Blood Analyser
Using patented boronate fluorescence quenching technology, the Quo-Test A1c Blood Analyser is able to measure glycolated haemoglobin (HbA1c) levels from blood samples as small as 4μl. The multilingual menus allow users to operate the device in their home language. The onboard storage allows for up to 7,000 results to be saved for efficient data management which can be downloaded as text files to a PC via the integrated USB interface or through the Quo-Connect and EKF Link.
Simple but accurate automated HbA1c measurement
The process of testing is simple, and the onscreen instructions mean that little time has to be for training. Results display on-screen in the user’s chosen units within 4 minutes, which include IFCC traceable units (IFCC mmol/mol) and DCCT standard units (Mono S & JDS reporting are also available). Alternatively, connecting a printer via a serial port allows you to print a paper copy.
How does HbA1c measurement aid the management of diabetes?
Measuring the level of glycated hemoglobin in blood effectively shows the average blood glucose level for the previous 6-8 weeks. In conjunction with regular blood glucose monitoring, A1c tests can aid care providers in determining if a patient’s treatment plan needs altering in any way to better control blood glucose levels.
