TMJ Ligamented Skull

This life size adult skull is horizontally sectioned and features a removable vault and jaw and shows the ligaments of the temporomandibular joint.  It is made from a unique specially formulated plastic that has the look and feel of real bone. The semi-rigid bone carries fine surface detail and is virtually unbreakable. The separate skull bones are clearly identified and careful moulding distinguishes such detail as the fine bones of the nasal concha, internal carotid artery canal and full size styloid processes. The mandible is movable but not removable.
